Allround

This outstanding liver chestnut Holstein Stallion, Allround is our top performing Stallion and has won over £30,000 in BSJA winnings as well as covering a large number of mares each season.  Several of his young progeny, with owners across Europe, will be starting their professional careers this year and we are looking forward to seeing their progress.   We have retained a 4yr old Stallion, out of Allround, Zapata who will begin his career this year and this year we have bred a fabulous chestnut filly from Allround.

Allround has been consistently described by Stud Book Graders, Professional Trainers and Riders as the ‘ultimate sports horse’, ‘horse of a lifetime’.   He has fantastic presence, movement, conformation and an enormous aptitude for work.  He is currently standing in Germany and being competed at Grand Prix with Adolfo Pacheco.

Allround is a product of the hugely successful Holstein showjumping horse breeding programme. His sire, the great and influential sire Acord II (Ahorn Z x Calypso I) has already produced over 40 licensed sons in various European studbooks.   Allround is licensed in Westphalia and was the first stallion to receive a full license from the Scottish Sports Horse (SSH) studbook upon his first presentation.

Allround has the necessary dash of thoroughbred blood drawn from his dam's sire, Sir Shostakovich xx, who is renown as a producer of international showjumping horses such as Sir Orion, Shirly and Donaumonarch. His Grandam Elite I is, like the world-famous sport and breeding stallions Indoctro, Centro and Cassini I, a product of the successful combination Capitol I x Caletto II.

The dam's line of Allround goes back via the stallions Lord (Ladykiller xx x Cottage Son xx), Maximus (Manometer xx) and Fasching (Fähnrich) to the mare Sarotti (Nestroy) from Holstein lineage 2860. Sarotti is also known as the dam of the licensed stallion Marconi (Manometer xx). The licensed stallions Landstar (Linaro) and Coromino (Corofino I) as well as the Grand Prix dressage horse Carlos (Caletto I) are, just like Allround, direct descendants of this Sarotti.

Allround continues to delight and impress with his consistent development. He has had a little time off over Christmas and is fresh and raring to go. In January he will begin competing again, including some Grand Prix shows in Germany for Approved Stallions only.
