Claire Campbell
Claire Campbell has a BSc in Equine Sports Science from Nottingham Trent University.  She has owned and ridden horses all her life and in 2002, together with her parents, designed and built Ingliston House Stud in Bishopton, Glasgow.  Ingliston quickly became one of the premier show centres in Britain and in 2007 was sold in order for the Campbells to build Braeface Stud where they aim to focus on breeding and producing elite sport horses.

 

 

Laura
Laura, 21 is Braeface’s Head Girl and has worked for Braeface for over 4 years. She travels with the competing Stallions and works with them at home with their competition and breeding duties.  Laura has recently added to her experience by taking her Artificial Insemination (AI) course at Twemlows Stud in Shropshire and is now qualified to collect semen from Stallions, and perform AI.

 

 

 

 

Stephen
Stephen began working for Braeface in 2003 and has rapidly expanded his role from general maintenance duties to operating all necessary machinery and maintaining all the grounds, stables and arenas. He is a completely indispensable part of the Team.

 

 

 

 

RIDERS

James Scullion
James currently rides Braeface Salerno, Troebadour and Wooster as well as his own BSJA horses.  As a young rider, James competed for Britain, qualified for HOYS in 2007 on Troebadour, competes annually at the Royal Highland, Scope and in Ireland. As an U25 rider he was selected for the Lottery Funded Scottish Equestrian Association (SEA) Young Rider Development Squad.

Niamh Meehan
Niamh Meehan is based in Aberdeenshire at Ladyleys Equestrian Centre.  As a Junior she rode for Ireland in the European Dressage Championships, has completed at Prix St George level and moved to Scotland in 2002 to ride for the Straloch Stud, producing dressage horses. After the closure of Straloch in 2006, she concentrated on freelance teaching and riding.  She currently rides Braeface Tancer, an 8 yr old Holstein stallion.

David Gatherer
David Gatherer is one of Scotland’s most successful Three Day Event riders.  He currently rides Braeface Schiller, an 8yr old Dutch warmblood stallion who had an extremely successful first season with David, with top placements at every event, culminating in his selection onto the Equine Pathway 2012. 

Adolfo Pacheco
Adolfo Pacheco is an Argentinean show jumper who is based in Germany.  He produces and competes jumping horses at all levels.  He has been enormously successful in Argentina and in 2001 took up an opportunity to ride and train with Michael Whitaker in England.  Since 2004 he has lived in Germany with his family.
